MOSAIC Feature Film: Editing and Poster Design

OVERVIEW:

Artefaekts Entertainment pronounced "Artifacts," is dedicated to the spirit of adventure, exploration, and the power of storytelling. They specialize in creating, developing, and producing high-quality films, television content, and live entertainment that resonate with diverse audiences. One Vision Productions was engaged to design the movie poster and serve as the Chief editor of the feature film.

 

GOALS:

Our objective was to develop an innovative poster design that effectively highlights the characters and dynamics of the film. Additionally, we successfully managed a three-person team responsible for editing the feature film, ensuring excellence in dialogue, story continuity, and color correction from the opening title credits to the end credits.

PROCESS:

The editing process for the feature film began with collaborative discussions between the editing team and the director to establish a cohesive vision. As the footage was organized and selected, the editor focused on refining the narrative, enhancing dialogue clarity, and ensuring seamless transitions between scenes. Concurrently, graphic designers were brought in to create the movie poster, starting with brainstorming sessions to capture the film's thematic essence. They sourced imagery and color palettes that resonated with the film's tone, ultimately crafting a striking design that would engage potential audiences. This collaborative effort ensured the film and its promotional materials reflected a unified artistic vision.​

OUTCOMES:

The successful outcome of the editing process and movie poster design was evident in the film's premiere, where both critical acclaim and audience enthusiasm flourished. The seamless editing elevated the narrative, drawing viewers into the story and enhancing emotional responses, while the visually striking poster captivated potential audiences, effectively conveying the film's themes and tone. Strong word-of-mouth recommendations and social media buzz fueled interest, leading to sold-out screenings.
