PAWS for the Cause

OVERVIEW:

Paws for the Cause is a community outreach program by the DeKalb County District Attorney's Office and DeKalb County Animal Services that aims to raise awareness about animal cruelty and neglect. The event includes shelter animal adoptions, low-cost veterinary services, live entertainment, food, vendors, and a fundraiser auction​. One Vision Productions would provide photography for the event.

GOALS:

We aimed to provide a curated selection of photographs that accurately represented the event, emphasizing key moments and success stories within five business days.

PROCESS:

One Vision Productions began by collaborating with the DeKalb County District Attorney's Office (DCDA) and DeKalb County Animal Services to understand the itinerary. On event day, the photography team arrived early to set up and capture preparatory activities and candid moments. Post-event, we selected and edited the best images to enhance their quality while maintaining authenticity. Finally, all deliverables were submitted to the DCDA within five business days, facilitating prompt dissemination to stakeholders and media.

OUTCOMES:

One Vision Productions curated and edited images that showcased the day’s moments while effectively promoting the cause. We ensured deliverables were submitted within five business days, meeting the DCDA’s deadline. The final photographs illustrated the successful interaction between attendees and animals, emphasizing community involvement and the importance of animal welfare.
