PROJECT TITLE:
Morehouse College Parent Council Event Photography
OVERVIEW
Morehouse College is a private, historically black liberal arts college in Atlanta, Georgia. Founded in 1867, it is known for its commitment to academic excellence and the development of leaders in the African American community. The Morehouse College Parent Council (MCPC) works to foster communication between the College and parents to improve the quality of the undergraduate experience for Morehouse College families and to offer parent engagement opportunities at the regional level. Recognizing the significance of key events in the academic calendar, the council sought One Vision Productions (OVP) as a professional partner to document these moments through photography, specifically for Parent Appreciation Days, Homecoming, Christmas Socials, and graduation ceremonies.
GOALS:
The primary goal of our engagement with the Morehouse College Parent Council was to create a rich visual documentation of the significant moments leading up to the graduation of its students. We aimed to memorialize these events, encapsulating the joy of the celebrations and the profound connections formed within the college community.
PROCESS:
OVP initiated services for the MCPC through in-depth consultations to understand their vision for each event. Site visits were conducted to familiarize our team with the venues before the events. Our photographers captured various moments, from candid interactions to formal ceremonies. Afterward, we meticulously reviewed and edited the best photographs, enhancing their quality while preserving authenticity. Finally, we delivered a digital gallery of high-resolution images to the MCPC, ensuring our services aligned with their expectations through continuous feedback.
OUTCOMES:
The outcomes of our photography services for the MCPC included a comprehensive collection of high-quality images that captured the essence of each event, showcasing candid moments and formal activities. The digital gallery exceeded expectations, allowing the Parent Council to document and share their events with the community.
