OVERVIEW:
McDonald's Corporation, established in 1940, is a leading global fast food chain known for its iconic Golden Arches and diverse menu offerings. The "I'm Lovin' It" campaign, launched in 2003, has become the brand's longest-running slogan and rejuvenated its image during a challenging sales period. This memorable slogan, originally a German phrase, was paired with a catchy jingle featuring Justin Timberlake, significantly boosting McDonald's market share. Over the years, McDonald's has successfully repurposed "I'm Lovin' It" with various artists, ensuring its lasting impact on pop culture and the fast-food industry. One Vision Productions was engaged to edit a McDonald's commercial for the Las Vegas area.
GOALS:
One Vision Productions is committed to creating a dynamic and engaging edit of the McDonald's "I'm Lovin' It" commercial, specifically tailored for the Las Vegas area. The overarching goal of this project is to resonate with the local audience by infusing elements that reflect the vibrant and diverse culture of Las Vegas while staying true to the original essence of the "I'm Lovin' It" campaign. PROCESS:
Collaboration with McDonald's marketing team and music producer to enhance the commercial's regional appeal. The editing team meticulously adjusted the pacing and rhythm to align with the fast-paced and lively atmosphere characteristic of Las Vegas, ensuring that the final cut captured attention immediately. In the post-production phase, OVP focused on high-quality visual enhancements and sound mixing, maintaining the catchy jingle while incorporating localized phrases and imagery that celebrate the unique spirit of the city.
