Access to Capital Funding Business Growth Workshop

OVERVIEW:

Anita Davis is the President and Chief Knowledge Transfer Agent at Praxis Strategic Solutions (PSS). She has an extensive training delivery background. Her 20-year bank lending career history provided risk analysis expertise, business growth and capacity building consulting experience, business financial and funding navigation resources, along with coaching and mentoring capabilities.

GOALS:

The objective of this workshop was  aimed to empower small business owners with essential knowledge about accessing funding and gain 5 new clients to sign up for her financial coaching services. With Anita's extensive background in bank lending and capacity-building consulting, the workshop was carefully designed to address specific funding challenges identified through preliminary surveys of potential attendees. One Vision Productions role was to provide professional audio/videography services to capture the hour-long event.

PROCESS:

The planning process involved close collaboration between Praxis Strategic Solutions and One Vision Productions, who provided professional audio and videography services. This ensured the effective documentation of the workshop, allowing for the creation of lasting educational materials. A venue was secured for 50 participants, and promotional efforts successfully attracted a diverse group of small business owners eager to learn.

OUTCOMES:

The workshop proved to be highly successful, drawing a total of 50 attendees. Of these, 15 individuals signed up for further coaching on navigating the funding process. The professional video produced during the event has been utilized in subsequent webinars, successfully reaching a broader audience and generating new clients for Praxis Strategic Solutions.
