PROJECT TITLE:
Judge Paul L. Brady: 90th Birthday Celebration
OVERVIEW:
Xernona Clayton is a former 30-year Turner Broadcasting executive and the first Black person to have a television show in the South. She is also the Founder, President, and CEO of the Trumpet Awards Foundation, Inc. (established in 1993), a prestigious event highlighting African American accomplishments and contributions, televised annually and distributed internationally to over 185 countries. Her husband, Paul Lawrence Brady, is an American civil rights advocate, author, and former federal administrative law judge, the first African-American to achieve this position in 1972. He developed an early interest in the law with his involvement in the landmark desegregation case Brown v. The Board of Education of Topeka. He retired in 1997. Xernona Clayton conducted their first-ever sit-down interview, allowing an intimate exploration of Judge Brady’s illustrious career. One Vision Productions captured the illustrious event.
